Sam Fiori | Advisor to the Board
Mr. Fiori is a 41-year veteran of the quick service restaurant industry in the United States, having served in a variety of roles with KMAC Holdings Corporation starting as a fry cook in 1974 at a local Fort Smith KFC. Currently, Mr. Fiori is CEO of KMAC and began serving in this role in December of 2004. He was instrumental in growing the company to its present size of almost 300 restaurants in 9 states.
Rick Griffin | Advisor to the Board
Mr. Griffin manages Griffin Properties of Fort Smith, LLC, and Griffin Construction Company. He graduated from Oklahoma State University before returning to Fort Smith to work with his father, Richard Griffin. Mr. Griffin actively works to improve the quality of life in Fort Smith.
Marshall Sharpe | Advisor to the Board
Mr. Sharpe is a life-long resident of Fort Smith. He graduated from Northside High School and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Management from Louisiana Tech University. He managed fast food restaurants and a large cattle ranch along with serving in the Air Force as a non-commissioned officer from 1977-1981. He is retired from OK Industries after 25 years as Manager of Audit and Export Programs. He and his wife, Carol, have 2 grown children and 5 grandchildren. Mr. Sharpe was appointed to the Homelessness Task Force in 2009 by the City Board of Directors to gather data as to why Fort Smith needs a place like the HOPE Campus. He has served as the Chairman of the Fort Smith Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Adjustments for the past 6 years. He is currently the Vice President and 2017 President-Elect of the Old Fort Homeless Coalition, a position he previously held. He also serves on the boards of the Village Harbor Property Owner’s Association and Keep Fort Smith Beautiful. Mr. Sharpe was a founding member of the Fort Smith Neighborhood Coalition and sits on the FEMA Board. He is active in choir and other ministries at Eastside Baptist Church.
Jon Hendrickson | Member
Mr. Hendrickson and his wife are pediatricians at Pediatric Partners in Fort Smith. He grew up in the Kansas City area, but has been in Fort Smith since 1989. Jon is very involved with his church and has made numerous medical mission trips to Senegal in West Africa. Community activities include Fort Smith Rotary Club, Chairman of Mercy Fort Smith Board of Trustees, and serving on the Board of Community Rescue Mission. He enjoys spending time with family (especially his 2 granddaughters) running (including Fort Smith Half Marathon), and KU Basketball (Rock Chalk Jayhawk!).
Doug Brooks | Member
Sergeant Doug Brooks has been with the Fort Smith Police Department since September of 1998. During that time, he has supervised the B.E.A.T. Health Unit, School Resource Officers and Narcotics Unit. Sergeant Brooks is a lifelong resident of the River Valley.
David Saxon | Member
Mr. Saxon is a Judge in the Fort Smith Division of Sebastian County District Court. He has served in this office for the last 24 years. Prior to becoming a judge, Mr. Saxon was the Chief Deputy Prosecutor for Sebastian and Crawford Counties. Judge Saxon is a graduate of the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville Law School. He is the past President of the Sebastian County Bar Association and the Arkansas District Judges Council. He has served on a number of boards at both the local and state level. He is a co-founder of the Sebastian/Crawford County Multi-Disciplinary Team (child abuse) and is currently the president of the board of the Hamilton House Child Safety Center.
